CAO’s Publishes White Papers
In 2005, the Regents were involved in a strategic Planning meeting that included participation from the Utah State Board of Education. At the meeting, a lengthy list of issues needing to be addressed was developed, together with some recommendations for addressing them. Following those meetings, the Chief Academic Officers reviewed the list of issues and identified those that were, to them, most problematic, together with those that impacted academic programs most significantly. Therefore, they proposed writing position papers to reflect the academic status and direction for the state.
