Defaulted? FIX IT!

324936_toolsWorking in the Account Resolution department here at UHEAA, there is one question that I hear more than any other. That question goes a little something like this: Help! I’ve defaulted on my student loans — is there anything I can do to fix it? And my answer is YOU BET!

The best thing you can do with a defaulted loan is to complete our Loan Rehabilitation program. Simply stated, Loan Rehabilitation requires 9 consecutive months of timely payments from you. After these payments have been made, we’ll confirm with you that you’d like to return your loans to good standing and we’ll do it — no paperwork, no hidden fees, no heartburn, no nothin’.

Sounds pretty easy, right? Well it is. And I haven’t even gotten to the best part yet: once your loans have been rehabilitated we’ll update your credit report and take the default off entirely — as if it never happened. This, my friends, is a truly sweet deal.

Questions? Wanna sign up? Give us a call! We’re here to help you Monday through Thursday 8AM to 8PM and Fridays 8AM to 5PM (MT); our toll-free number is (877) 336-7398
