First-generation, low-income student scholarship deadlines draw near (Deseret News)
SALT LAKE CITY Deadlines for two substantial University of Utah scholarships are quickly approaching, and students, specifically first-generation and low-income students, are encouraged to apply. Each scholarship provides up to $5,000 annually to cover the cost of tuition, books and fees. In addition, selected students will participate in a faculty mentoring program, as well as academic and social support programs toward their educational success.
