High-schoolers invited to conference (SLC tribune)
Utah high-school students are invited to the 15th annual Chicana/o Latina/o Youth Leadership Conference, which aims to promote leadership development, cultural awareness and pride in Latino students.
Registration deadline is Feb. 26.
The event is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 3 at the University of Utah. It will include breakfast, workshops and lunch at the U. Olpin Union. Bus rides will be available from most high schools in the Salt Lake City area. If students need transportation, they may contact event organizers below.
