National CTE Resolution
Just a quick update on the resolution that Rep. Cassidy of Louisiana submitted regarding the efforts of career and technical colleges to educate and train workers for high-demand industries. The resolution moved quickly through the appropriate channels and was put up for a vote by the full House on Thursday afternoon. I am happy to announce that the House voted overwhelmingly (409-0) to pass the resolution. It really is great to know that Congress understands the importance of CTE and that they chose to recognize the outstanding work being done by career and technical colleges to help get workers back into the labor market and help our economy.
