Dear Colleagues,
As you know, it is my habit to write the campus from time to time about various thoughts on my mind. Recently, a group working on internal communications issues advised that it would be better to hear from me more often but with shorter messages. This sounded wise to me. In that spirit, here is the first of several messages on the way over the next few weeks.
As we head into this Thanksgiving holiday, I find myself more grateful than ever for the energetic service and outstanding contribution being made on this campus every day. In order to showcase some of the extraordinary things happening here, I have started a new series of video vignettes called Holland’s Highlights that we are sending out to our extensive network of external friends and supporters. Naturally, one of the drawbacks of such an effort is that we cannot cover anything close to the full array of impressive university accomplishments deserving of attention. I trust that you and our external audiences will recognize that these highlights are illustrative of so many other things we could profile.
To access the first three highlight videos, please visit the Office of the President’s website by following this link http://www.uvu.edu/president/hollands-highlights/. We invite you to continue to visit the website from time to time to see additional vignettes as they are produced.
Thank you for all you do,
President Holland
