More than two dozen University of Utah undergraduate students join counterparts from Utah State University in presenting their research posters at the Utah State Capitol on Thursday.
Deadlines for two substantial University of Utah scholarships are quickly approaching, and students, specifically first-generation and low-income students, are encouraged to apply. Each scholarship provides up to $5,000 annually to cover the cost of tuition, books and fees. In addition, selected students will participate in a faculty mentoring program, as well as academic and social support programs toward their educational success.
Applying for federal financial aid is free. However, there are several websites out there that will try and charge you a fee to fill out the FAFSA. Don’t let them fool you into paying money for an application that is free to the public.
