Finalists named for USU-CEU chancellor

USU and CEU Create Historic Union

In anticipation of an affirmative vote by the Utah Legislature scheduled for 10:15 a.m. March 4 in the Senate Chambers, USU President Stan L. Albrecht and CEU President Mike King will celebrate with cake and Aggie Ice Cream following the historic vote at 10:45 a.m. in the Capitol Board Room.

Pending the governor’s signature, the passage of the bill marks the first higher education merger between two long-standing institutions in the state’s history. CEU’s new name will be Utah State University-College of Eastern Utah.
