In the recent article “Your town in brief: Star spangled audition” from the Salt Lake Tribune, the print and online news source outlined several upcoming events, services and news at cities and towns throughout the valley. An exciting bit that was mentioned in the article was about Herriman City and the scholarship opportunities that they currently have available.

Seeking service-minded scholars » Herriman city has three scholarships, which will be awarded based on a 24-hour community-service project. Amounts are $1,000, $700 and $500. Applications are due to the Herriman City Offices by June 1, with winners announced at Fort Herriman Days on June 26.
