Today and tomorrow, the Utah System of Higher Education is hosting the Complete College Utah Academy, an intensive, two-day event specifically designed to help institutions develop strategies to improve success of remedial/developmental education. Not only did each campus send teams of folks to learn more at the Academy, but the whole event was kicked off with addresses by Utah Lt. Governor Greg Bell, Senator Steve Urquhart, Commissioner Sederburg and Complete College America’s Stan Jones.

After this week’s event, the plan is for the teams to return to their campuses and help students complete college! Not too shabby to get the job done so that 66% of our population will have post-secondary degrees or certificates by the year 2020.
